I believe that color has a profound effect on a person's soul, that color has the ability to influence and shape emotions.
I work mainly with resins, acrylics, and oils. I started painting with oil on canvas when I was 9 years old. Much later in my adult life, I began experimenting with thick textures, geometrical figures, and random dripping techniques with resins. I discovered the power of contradicting dialogues within the same boundaries that - together with aggressive color combinations - produced powerful pieces that speak for themselves. Mixed media allows me to create with no constraints, to grasp emotions on my canvas in a way that no other media do.
Resin on the other hand has a life of its own. When I start a piece of work with resin (epoxy), I always have a clear vision of where I want to go, but the fun begins when the material itself overtakes the creative process, for a final result that is as unexpected as it is striking.
